Welcome to the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd!

Please join us for in-person worship Sunday mornings at 9:30am. All are welcome!

We are located near the town common at 9 Park Street, next to the U.S. Post Office. Parking is available in front of the church and in the adjacent Sullivan County parking lot. Our vestry building has a handicap accessible ramp.

Our Annual Church Fair held on the Common in Newport, NH on September 21, 2024, was a lot of fun and a big success! We are very grateful for the vendors, generous donations, hardworking volunteers and talented musicians, Carl Brogan, James Grace and Joe Jennings! Many thanks to all!

Our enemies will die, as the dew does in the sunshine, and we, too, brothers, we’ll live happily in our land.

We’ll not spare either our souls or bodies to get freedom, and we’ll prove that we brothers are of Kozak kin,

We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of every month. Easter Sunday 2024

For a small church, we have a big heart, and we are making a big impact on our community and our world. And with the support of your prayers, your presence, your gifts, and your service we can continue to carry on these ministries for years to come. We are called to love one another as God loved us, and that is the message we want to share.
